This is a short story or novella that should be a clean romance BOOK. The characters are good. The brevity is not.There are some wonderful interactions but the ending leaves a lot to be desired. There are not enough interactions for ending. Plus, the ending leaves two people alone ... without the supporting cast to enjoy the ending as it comes to happen.
I highly recommend the author revisit this story, flesh out some of the actions and then, extend the ending so that it will finish in the true "happily ever after" of the romance tradition.
When 3 generations of family are involved ... it makes sense to me that they be involved in the ending.
This book is like unbaked bread dough... almost there, but not baked to perfection, yet. I'd only recommend reading this if it is revised.

This was the perfect story for a rainy day when you just want to curl up and get lost in a good book. The imagery of a dull rainy day in Norfolk was perfectly done and there was just the right mix of intrigue, romance and humour to make this a great book to pass the day with. I love Henriette Gyland's ability to create intriguing and suspenseful plotlines and 'Blueprint for Love' was just another example of that. 5 Stars!
Too drawn out. Was almost boring at times.
It is a short story so it doesn't have the time to fully engage the reader as I would l Iike. Read it if you would like a quick story.

Clean contemporary romance with a hint of mystery. I did not find any misspelled words or grammar errors. If there were any they weren't obvious to me and did not interrupt the flow of the story.
When Hazel Dobson takes a temporary job with Jonathan Gough's architectural firm she's happy to be returning to Norfolk and getting away from a troublesome boss. She doesn't expect to be instantly attracted to Jonathan, a widower with 2 small sons. Their path to happiness is marred by trouble at the manor house and they must overcome the knowledge that someone is setting out to destroy their hopes of a future together. I enjoyed this story very much with characters to care about and a beautiful setting.
